- On a deserted road late one night, college professor Paul Davis surprises a murderer disposing of a couple of bodies. Eight moths later Paul is battling PTSD, depression, and severe problems at work. His wife Charlotte brings home a vintage typewriter to encourage him to get started on that novel he's always intended to write. Now only Paul can hear the noise of the keys clacking downstairs at night when no one is there. After nearly losing his life that night, Paul is battling PTSD, depression, and severe problems at work and home. His wife, Charlotte, tries to cheer him up by giving him the vintage typewriter he always wanted but it becomes a source of anxiety itself as Paul swears he can hear the keys clacking when everyone is in bed. Increasingly tormented yet determined to discover he truth, Paul begins reinvestigating the deaths himself
